EFY was the most amazing week! Me and Bryan went to the one at UNLV. Throughout the week we saw each other, but since he was in the 16-17 year old group, and I was in the 14-15 year old group (and he's a boy) we wern't always together. EFY was a very uplifting week but at the same time was one of the funnest weeks of the summer! We played games, had FHE, devotionals, dances, testimony meeting, and free time. It was so fun and I am sooooo excited to go next year. I made it into the variety show, playing the piano and singing A Thousand Miles. It was so fun and a great experience! I also met some REALLY good friends that I will for sure keep in touch with. :) I am SO glad that I was able to go this year and strengthen my testimony while being there. I had great leaders and was around great people. If only I could live at EFY and have my family there too:) I could keep on writing on and on about EFY. It was so fun and uplifting. While I was there, we said our prayers at all of our meals...(silently)...said our prayers in the morning and night, read our scriptures for about 30 minutes in the mornings, and had the spirit with us. I am SO thankful that I was able to go to EFY with Bryan and be around great spiritual people with my same standards for a week. :) <3 :)

Girls Camp:)

Last week, me and azure went to Kolob Canyon for girls camp! It was Azure's first and was so fun! My first night was an over night hike and camp. We slept under the stars and then woke up in the morning and went to our main camp. The theme of this years was C.O.W. (Count Our Worth). Our ward was called the "Mooport Hillbillies." :) I repelled, ziplined, shot rifals, shot a bow and arrow, and ate a bug! Girls camp was so fun:) It was also especially fun because Azure was with me. I have always gone to camp alone, but this year Az was there. The last full day of camp we went to a lake on the mountain. Our ward got there first and so Brother Buchannon grabbed all of us and we all jumped in! It was FREEZING! After that we got to canoe! That night was testimony meeting. And whoever has ever been to a girls camp testimony meeting knows how great it is! That was one of my favorite parts. It was one of the most spiritual testimony meetings that I have ever been to. Besides the spiritual and fun parts there was some gross things happen. A grasshopper and a bee jumped out at me, a grasshopper was crawling on my leaders face in the middle of the night, and we had disgusting dirt tans right after we stepped out of the showers:) We were only supposed to push the shower button 4 times and only use 4 squares of toilet paper. Besides all of the little gross things, I had so fun! Girls Camp was great!

My First Blog!

Yay! My first blog! Well nothing has really happened this week besides sickness's, laying around, playing instruments and getting a new guitar! This morning really early me and my mom went to a house close to the temple to buy me a guitar! I bought a guitar so that I wouldn't always have to ALWAYS share Az's and Bry's.
Also, Brookes' baby is SO close to being born! I am so excited for her! Summer has been great and I hope school doesn't creep up on us to close. Ugh! That reminds me, I still have homework to do:( Well, there is my first blog! :)

My new acoustic-electric cutaway sunburst guitar!

It has been so fun playing!!!
